Kelsey is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anthropology. She is interested in characterizing how human genetic adaptations to diet and environment are linked with modern health outcomes across worldwide populations.

Emily Winnicki

Emily is a Madison & Lila Self Graduate Fellow and PhD student in the Department of Anthropology. Emily is interested in studying human genomics to understand how we have evolved in response to infectious agents.

Aaron is a first year student in the Emerging Scholar Program and in the School of Business and Department of History. He is interested in museum studies and researching how museum displays impact public perceptions of history.

Emily is in her third year at the University of Kansas, studying Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology and anthropology. She plans to pursue graduate studies focused on precision medicine with pharmacogenomics.
